About Us

Marathon Eryri Cyf (a non-profit making organisation) was set up in 2007 to take over the bulk of organising the Snowdonia Marathon from the National Trust. From the outset, the new organisation was determined that the race would raise as much money for local causes as possible. The 2022 race saw a total of £30,000 going to the local causes.

Subsequent years have seen us continuing to donate to local causes and volunteering groups. This money has been used in a variety of ways from building a climbing wall in a local Primary School to helping fund trips for local volunteering groups.

We continue to donate to local groups and causes. If you know of any groups that might qualify for our help, please contact us.
