Jayne Lloyd has organised the Snowdonia Marathon Eryri since 2004. Since then the race has grown from a 600 runner event, to today’s 3000 capacity marathon, and now is amongst the UK’s most iconic marathons.

As a former international mountain runner, Jayne knows what it takes to complete such a challenge, and what the runner wants on that journey. Her enthusiasm and knowledge come through in all that the race offers and is a big attraction of the event.

In addition to Jayne , there is a core organising and media team.

Phil Jones is a multiple finisher of the race, and also a member of the 100 Marathon Club. Across the last 25-30 years Phil has been every-present either taking part in the race, or aiding in the entry and registration process of the event. He is part of the furniture!

Matt Ward is the race commentator and also contributes to the event media offering. Matt also offers his expertise on the competitors in race previews and post-race reports.

The Snowdon Race Committee are also an integral part of the event. Whether it is lugging a barrier on race day, organising marshals, informing the local village of what is going on or standing out for hours in the rain on race day directing traffic and runners, they are always there!
